Too often, Pakistan is seen by the West through the lens of conflict or extremism, while Europe is misunderstood by the East as detached or critical of faith and culture. Both views are incomplete. This book was born from the shared frustration of two peacebuilders, Christophe De Contenson, Mayor of Couzon, France, and humanitarian leader; and Abdul Karim (Aay Kay), a youth peace advocate from Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. Together, they realized: It’s time to reclaim the narrative. Not with politics but with people. Not through media but through real human stories.
